Biggest kandi pet peeve?

xxpancake 5/1/2015 03:09 pm 3242

This may seem like a totally off the wall question, but I figured it might be fun to ask. Does anyone have any pet peeves when making kandi? Like I have a couple that I know but the living crap outta me, and I wanna see if anyone else is as OCD as I am. XD You know that one bead in a pack that has a razor thin ring of plastic still around it, or a tiny nub of plastic that sticks out? CAN'T STAND IT. Or like the one letter bead where the ink is slightly off the grooves of the letters and it just looks crappy on one side? ANNOYING AS ALL HECK. What about everyone else? Am I just overly critical of my beads? XD

I absolutely hate the little sharp part on beads :c I've scratched myself sometimes when i put on a bracelet after making it and finding that a bead i used has a little sharp point of plastic still attatched xc

When I accidentally drop the single I'm making and have to re-do it. Whenever the string breaks or I didn't measure it to be long enough. When I find a bead that's broken

Getting mixed packs (i ALWAYS go through and Color code)

spilling my beads (cause i gotta color code AGAIN -_-)

Adding more string when im just about done so i dont need much but if i add a little bit i cant manage it

beads that arent complete (broken beads in bags)

having to go back cause i put one or two bead out of place..

i can go on for a while these are the main lol

(This was when I first starting out) I found that my pet peeve was stretched elastic. You know, when you stretch the band to make the bracelet tight but it snaps or becomes slack. That annoyed me so much! angry Since then I have learned. kao big grin

I have a few when it comes to Kandi.

1) I agree with you on the plastic rim around the bead, I usually end up using my nail to shave off the unneeded pieces. Even the part about the letter beads ink being slightly off from the indentation.

2) When you get a discolored bead. For instance, I had a pink bead that had a bit of a greenish yellow mix in it (not pretty, it looked like mustard--hate that color) I ended up throwing it away.

and 3) Whenever I am tying my bracelet off, and it slips and my beads explode everywhere. I've lost a few under the couch shock

when you do a ladder tangryype bracelet/poster and they all fold on each other and wont let you tie it off
