How do you turn a picture off of a pattern into a peyote?

Hello everyone! I've been asking friends how to do this and searching multiple times EVERY WHERE but I sadly cannot find anything on how to do this. What I am looking for is how do you a picture off of a cuff and turn it into an odd peyote stitch charm type thing. Like this:

there are a coupplle ways the 1 way is to look at is and try to figure it out the one yu are showing is not that hard just look at the picture closy a another way is to use beadtool and open the picture in there than go from there the only thing you cant do in bead tool is save how i do it on bead tool is i take a picture with a camra
