This is the only way I've seen kandi on shoes, but, I'd imagine it wouldn't bee too hard to add a little 3D if you really put the work into it. happy

It's possible to add kandi to shoes... I would suggest painting over the knots with a good clear nail polish to keep it from falling off. I would also suggest using small pony beads and try not to step on the decoration so it doesn't break. But, I've never added Kandi to shoes before...

It depends on how you do it! Personally, I would recommend looping something like stars through your laces, to be the most secure. As for laceless shoes like Vans, I've struggled myself with how to decorate them, and just settled on simple neon glow in the dark paint to accent it. You have to be careful with shoes and feet because they get stepped on a lot, especially at raves!! And stepping on kandi could lead to it breaking, and the last thing you want are tiny beads all over the dance-floor, or even anywhere else. Many people could trip, AND your kandi would be ruined!! I would say it depends on what string you use, and how tightly you fasten them to the shoes. I would say use the cloth-covered elastic for the kandi itself, and a thin-ish rope for the fastening. Anything that is really strong. And for extra strength, paint over the knots with clear nail polish. Hope I helped c:
