I'll go first - I was at Starbucks and wearing kandi (obv) and the barista said she liked my kandi (not bracelets, but kandi ) and so that's the story of how i now always carry some kandi stars w/ me wherever i go

i was in chicago on vacation with my dad, walking down the street decked out, FULL kandi decora mode (i mean tutu. hair clips, cuffs up to my shoulders, yknow?) and this guy comes up to me and freaks out at my kandi! he said he was a raver for 10 years and he made kandi of his own, and he said i made him super happy with my look, and that he didn’t know kandi was still alive! we talked about kandi and raves and music for like 15 minutes while my dad and the dude’s fiancée stared at each other awkwardly as we stimmed and hugged 3 whole times!!! it was so fun. his name was chip and i think of him every time i put on kandi, cause of just how happy kandi made the both of us :,D

This didn't happen with kandi, it happened with one of my rainbow loom bracelets but it is a nice story

I was wearing kandi along with a few rainbow loom bracelets and my friend complimented one of my bracelets and asked if she could have it. I gave it to her right off my arm and she was so happy and surprised that I actually gave it to her! After that I decided that if someone ever compliments my kandi/bracelets I would give it to them to make their day a little better, or if they just straight up ask if they can have it I'll give it to them if they're kind!

someone i met a school always complimented my kandi and encouraged me to open commissions! the first one i ever made was for them

My father and brother make fun of me whenever I make kandi so I dont wear it I just make it and no-one makes kandi near me

i have some!!! one time this one kid in my class came up to me and told me my kandi was really cool!! i gave him a single that said "abc" and know we're close friends!!! another time i was at the school dance and i met this girl who was wearing a ton of kandi like me!! we didn't trade but we talked and complimented each other

also this year me and my friend are making each other PLUR packages!!! its gonna be so fun

i once traded with a hot topic employee!! i will never forget how nice they were, they said they rly liked my l'manburg flag cuff and gave me a kinoko kingdom themed single! i gave them a single that said "I u" =)

so me and my family work at a carnival and i work at the tarot booth (which i made btw) and i was wearing my rainbow epic cuff and a person with demonias and one of those hoodies where the sleeves are attatched with safety pins came up to me and i did a year round spread and it was super accurate they said and they noticed my kandi and i gave them a rainbow octopus made of kandi haha it was a good time
