Whats your oppinion on using non-stretch beading thread for peyote stitching?

I use fishing line for everything now :b its way better!

I use non-stretch fishing line for my peyotes, so I like it. I find non-stretch string better for peyotes because if I'm going to attach it to something ( necklace, a single or even if I made peyote bag straps) I find it stretches out if I make it with elastic string, that and it doesn't seem to sit right if I make a peyote with elastic string.
