We might need more admins on this site.

Just look at all the pending patterns, there aren't enough moderaters/admins to keep up with all of it. If we got more moderators to approve of these things or even just people who can only approve on patterns 1 think it would make it less of a waiting game when it comes to patterns especially if your pattern just gets ignored :/ . - Gavin.

closing for comments for now because we've had a lot of threads like this and I know that it's a problem. I will bump the admin stuff to the top of my todo list.

We absolutely do need more admins, but unfortunately it’s not that simple. There’s a significant amount of development work that’s required before I can add new admins. I’ve also got people volunteering to be admins who I don’t personally know and trust, which means I need to add security features so that they have limited powers and can’t mess up the site. I’m very busy this month but hopefully in a couple of weeks I’ll have some spare time to work on the site.

i agree , it's frustrating . i have 9 pending and have for weeks even though they have enough % of votes
