tw needlez/shotz abt vaccine

im gonna get my first shot for the vaccine tmrw and im rlly scared bc i hate needlez and i havent gotten any shotz in a while ughghg sometimez my mom holdz my hand during my shotz, i close my eyez and move my head away, or i bring a stuffie, but iz there any other advice ?? itz rlly early tho so im hoping im too tired to be like rlly awake bc i have to wake up at like 9am for it

it depends on ur pain tolerance but mine didn't hurt at all ! ! the only pain u feel is the day after and maybe a tiny pinch during laugh its not as bad as people say it is , good luckkao happy

I don't know if getting shots hurts for you but I can't feel if so as long as I don't see it (I just turn my head) and the doctor doesn't tell me when they inject the needle I have no idea when its in my arm and thus don't get scared.

I closed my eyes and squeezed my moms hand when I got the vaccine. For me, it didn’t start hurting until a few hours later. The initial pain is only when the needle goes into your arm for a few seconds. The second vaccine hurt more than the first one when I got it. Good luck

The nurses are generally super understanding because they see a lot of people that get nervous. If you let them know they'll be more patient with you. I put on a video while I got the shot and I didn't even notice when they administered it. So I suggest doing that if you can.

i kicked a nurse once at my first vaccine :/ anyways thanks for only changing the s to zs bc its impossible to read other style writing!! last vaccine i had was at school and i just bit my cardi rlly hard, try that.
