how to bring kandi beads on vacation?

im going to niagara tomorrow and I want to bring beads to make kandi so how would I store them?

I've got a big trip this summer and my current plan is to staple any bags closed, wrap big elastics or string around stuff with lids, and put it all in a big tote for carry on luggage because I don't trust nobody on the plane not to spill my beads > but yeah, I like those ziplock bag ideas some other people are mentioning
