how do u make a hole out of a stuffed animal with out ruining the animal?

I tried making a stuffed animal backpack but when i was cutting it it fell apart please help!!!! 1.gif

you have to cut a seam specifically. you cut a back seam, pull out the stuffing in the belly. then get your lining and sew it in. making sure that you reseal the ends of the seam that you ripped in the beginning.

It could be the material the stuffed toy is made of, or maybe you cut into the seam accidentally??
