like i keep hearing ppl say its problematic without saying why :/

@C0y0te_B0nez: nvm its just cronus bc i forgot the dancestors are basically exaggerations of the trolls and cronus being a humankin is unrelated to eridan, but he is potrayed as stupid especially when it comes to being a humankin, example being how he put cigs in his mouth but refuses to light them. i might be taking it out of context but it kinda felt like a jab at alterhuman for meshrug

@CometzKornr: oh yea not to mention the fandom is infamous for alot of things. (sharpie bath, the time a tavros cosplaqyer superglued horns to their head, the spit bucket, throwing buckets at people, buckets in general, this ones not that bad but spin the bottle except its a bottle of faygo

slurs, racist caricatures (meenah and damara as examples), the creator is a childliker (made a self insert of himself to thirst after a 13 year old character he made cough cough vriska cough), characters that poke fun at people with mental disorders (mituna), and characters that sorta poke fun at alterhumans (horuss and cronus) and probs alot more cryingcryingcrying

hussie isnt the best guy. but then again the stuff he did (slurs, semi racism? idk dave strider made a comment and it was rather racist.) was tolerable online in the 2000s bc no one really cared.

slurs I think, but I honestly have looked past them because its from 2009 and slurs weren't as recognized then (which doesn't make it okay, it just makes it less bad????) also I've heard the creator isnt the best and the fandom is kind of... intense

coming from a homestuck enjoyer, they use slurs within the actual comic, the fandom in general has a reputation of being not that great, and hussie is not that great of a guy. these are all things that i have heard and seen in the comic, so i can be wrong. there might be more problems but i hope this helps tongue
