When I was like little it was sharks ofc (although sharks are a pretty common interest) and then it was Warrior Cats (I know all the lore dude I've drawn so much fanart too) and then a few years ago for me it was tarantulas (still love them, still want one as a pet lol. Also ironic since I scream from seeing regular spiders) but as of right now it's Pearl Harbor ??? don't even ask dude lmfao . Also, I got into Rick Riordan's books a while back (still love them). I've read Magnus Chase so many times it's not even funny

Btw ik Percy Jackson and WC are not really weird or creepy, i was mainly talking about the Pearl Harbor and tarantula part lmao. I also used to watch those vlog videos about people going through tornados and those storm chasing videos and honestly I love tornados they're so cool

i've had a special interest in cannibalism for the past few years! it's less anthropophagia (albeit it definitely does touch on that, not a huge fan of true crime though...) and more as it's studied in the rest of the animal kingdom. been particularly into cannibalism in lions lately, not completely sure why.

however for past ones, i was uniquely insufferable during the parasitism in insects hyperfixation. turns out people lose their appetite when you bring up parasites, who could've guessed?

ok this is gonna sound kinda weird but I've always been interested/ hyperfixated with 9/11 and once in class we had to tell everyone what we were interested in and that day i told my homeroom that i was hyperfixated with 9/11

OHOH ONE OF MY SPECIAL INTERESTS IS TRUE CRIME/SHOCK VIDEOS AND SITES!! Its so fun to research and it really helps out my friends so they dont accidentally watch or go onto things that have g0re or anything^^
