haz anyone else had horrible lung or heart issues even years after covid despite good health prior to it? I haven't heard much about it and it concerns me quite a bit. My heart rate is extremely high when I stand up move and I get winded soooo easily 5148668e79851_animal04.gif

i had covid twice last year, and i have some issues (i stay sick a long time) but not as much as others do. i hope that you're okay, this experience seems common around people who contracted COVID.

@ADAMcoyotee: Google Def: What is dysautonomia? “Dysautonomia” is the general term for disorders that disrupt your autonomic nervous system (ANS). It can describe several disorders, each with varying symptoms. Dysautonomia can range from mild to severe. Other less common names for dysautonomia are autonomic dysfunction or autonomic neuropathy.

It's just the umbrella term for all sorts of things relating to your automatic nervous system. Heartbeat irregularities, breathing issues, fainting, fatigue, migraines. Those sorts of things, though the list of possibly symptoms is a lotttt longer than that.

I'm not really an expert on the subject or anything, so take anything I say with a grain of salt. I've just learned little bits here and there from doing research on hypermobile ehlers danlos because it's very frequently co morbid with dysautonomia. Specifically POTS.

I've noticed that I've had issues similar to that after having covid but my doctor said it should fade after a year or two sense my body is still healing from it
