i was just talking to someone about king on another site so i wondering if there's a king community here as well.

@astrological_rat: thats fair! one of the parts i like about the book is the whole fire at blackspot thing bc 1. we learn more about mike and his family and 2. dick halloran and i really like how all his books are connected. it was really the length and "those" scenes that got to me. i finished the book but never again lol

@BuzzyBoy: mostly got into the book because of the movie, not a huge fan of a couple of the scenes lol. i think the book adds some expansion on the characters that the movies didnt quite capture. thanks for the rec!! i'm gonna try getting into some other of his works, like duma key or the shining or whatever

yeah i have like all of his DVDs and at least two copies of each book

I really liked him when I was in high school, but I can't remember which books were my faves now. I believe Dreamcatcher was one of them based on the list I just looked at. It's funny now to read the plot of that, because some of the real-life stuff I've experienced and learned about is much weirder than that book. I don't think I could read sci fi again laugh

if you dont mind a recommendation and like his short stories i think skeleton crew is a good read

i like fairy tail a lot too tho i read almost the entire book in one sitting on a roadtrip
