How do I make a simple horizontal cuff smaller to fit my wrist without ruining the pattern?

I made a Usahana cuff(horizontal) following a pattern today but once I finished it was too big for my wrist(it was the perfect size for my water bottle tho XD). The normal cuffs I usually make for myself are about 20 beads around my wrist what can I do to make the cuff fit without completely ruining the pattern? Thx for any help given 62642342eb135_rainbow_horsy.gif

you can remove beads from the "gap" parts between patterns. Just make sure that there's an even number around
(EG, if something is a pattern that's 30 beads around, and the pattern takes up 15 of these, you could remove some of the "gap" columns to have a total of 16, 18, 20, 22, etc beads around instead of 30)
