How do I measure my face for a mask?

I wanna make some masks but they don't really fit my face!! 513b3952760e7_sad2.gifI have one surgical mask but its a bit too short for me bc I have a British Nose (the bridge of my nose has a bump) that pulls the whole thing up when I try to talk 513b55c730f5c_kao_no.gif

I made some patterns using the same measurements as the other surgical mask, but I'm wondering if there's a way to alter them to fit my face? maybe a conversion someone has for measurements and bead count?

anything helps!! 513b39525d246_dance.gif
