@sagepawzzz: omg thats so cool some of my friends were in that show last year rn my schools theater is getting renovated so instead of a fall play we are doing a renesaince faire so that's pretty sick! so instead of one play we are doing multiple one acts at the fair! I've kinda stopped acting but I do art and wardrobe

Basically nothing is going to get rid of a cold until it runs its course. Meds can make you feel better,* but they only mask the symptoms and can make a cold last longer. Drinking a ton of water, showering a lot to get the germs off, and eating right will help your body fight it off. Wear a mask so you don't pass it on to the rest of the cast and crew.

*They can also mess you up if you're unlucky. I was home sick once and took Nyquil before watching Power Rangers (I didn't want to watch Power Rangers, but I couldn't move to reach the remote 6 inches away and nobody came in the room that I could ask), and the Nyquil made the episode seem like it was about four hours long and gave me nightmares.
