most commonly i rock back and forth or flap my hands/fists. if i'm listening to music though i will often play the notes with my fingers kinda like piano but i honestly don't like that one as much cuz it keeps me awake when i have a song stuck in my head crying

i also sort of flick my hand and it makes almost a snapping sound? kinda similar to an African finger snap (Lupita Nyong'o did a tutorial for Vanity Fair) but it's just my thumb hitting both my index finger and middle finger - i didn't even know it was an established thing when i started doing it w02

i also squeeze things in my hands if i'm holding anything, especially if the thing making me stim is related to whatever i'm holding.

vocal stims are also super fun sometimes like especially relating to my current interest (i don't know if it's a hyperfixation or a special interest tbh), which is hermitcraft (or related youtubers) and/or the life series SMP big grin

My most common ones r the flappy hands & meowing, but now i meow a lot more often and not just as a stim

edit: ok yeah maybe theres a lot more i didn't realize all the other stuff i do could be stims. Im constantly rocking back and forth or in a circle, tapping/semi-stomping my foot, scratching the back of my hand till it hurts

jumping, the hand flap thing, saying "haiii" in a really high pitched voice, stomping (ish?), bouncing my leg, clapping, and that "lalalalalala" thing from lyle lyle crocodile in the same pitch as the "haii"

some stims ive got rn is ofc meowing, i also tend to growl alot. it can also come out as a grunt or hiss. ill also bounce my weight standing on my toes and tend to hold/pinch my fingertips. i also love feeling strips of my hair in the same way an ant cleans itself. i only tend to clap when im getting rlly stressed or overwhelmed.

usually for me it kinda looks like I’m convulsing. Like, I kinda tighten up my stomach and force my torso forward a few inches. I used to throw my head back though so I kinda prefer this. I also cough. I did it all day, every day, for around 7 months. I only do it a few times a day now. I also have the classic hand flapping when I’m happy sometimes which is very nice/sen

high pitched squeals, meowin', lalalalala-in', flappy hands, hittin' the table or my thighs if there isnt a table ta hit, hittin' my wrists against each other, clapping but i make it so it doesnt make any sound, popping any n' every bone/joint in my body, chewin' on my sleeve, bitin' the knuckle o' my thumb, tappin' things, some echolalia vocal stims (i'll give examples)

my current echolalia-like stims or jes vocal stims in general ig: ur mom(i've been curse with sayin' this phrase over n over again fer years..), yer gay, balls(yes i do have the humor of a 7th grade boy lol), i ate yer family, sillysillysillysillysilly-, im so silly, lalalallalllalllalallallaalallalala, *uncontrollable giggling*

usually it's chewing on something. i tend to vocal stim a lot, and i sometimes wear kandi so i can play with the beads or chew on it. idk if this counts but i also pace a lot, usually without consciously knowing i'm doing it. like walking back/forth down hallways or circling rooms etc.

also sometimes i like to repetitively stretch out my fingers as far as they go until they tingle. also used to have problems with head banging but im trying to quit b/c i don't need brain damage :"(
