Is it okay for your first cuff to be bad?

I just finished up my first cuff, and it's loose and ugly. I was wondering if it's okay?

It is fine!! You have to start somewhere. And you keep at it long even you'll notice you get better in time. Practice makes perfect c:

Ofcourse thats ok! Everyone makes ugly cuffs sometimes. They dont all turn out perfect. Practice makes perfect, but even though sometimes they come out bad. Everytime i try a new thing (peyote, helix, squiggly, ufo)the first of the new thing is usually reaaaallyyy bad. But its still ok to wear them. The people who dont make kandi wont even be able to tell the difference.

We can only get better. You should see my first Kandi cuff. The bottom was practically falling off! tongue

Of course! My first cuff wasn't too great, but over time you'll surely improve. keep practicing and keep learning and they'll look awesome in no time! Try different strings and different ways to tie it. Its only your first one.

Ohh my gosh XD my first cuff was HORRIBLE! I somehow made it with an uneven amount of beads, and it was super tight, like it would fit on my cousin who isn't even in double digits yet....yeah...it was striped rainbow but the red section (section I started with) was totally messed up, the beads are super scrunched up there, even though the rest of the bracelet is normal...yet somehow I am proud of it XD but don't worry, after that I started to get better and better, I'm still not perfect (not even close) but I'm improving and so will you :3

I actually had to redo mine three or four times because I couldn't get mine right. So hecks yeah its perfectly normal. You can't make something perfect on the first try. happy

For sure! In fact, if your first cuff was perfect and had no problems at all, I'd be suspicious. I had trouble when I made my first few cuffs because I used the wrong type of string, and I also didn't understand the whole "go up a row" thing. You'll get better with experience! ^-^
