What are your Autistic sensory issues?

Like most of my sensory stuff is really weird. Like towels make me want to cry, I’ve never been able to wear jeans, eating some frozen stuff, any type of socks besides the ones that I wear (I’ve been re-buying them for like 7 years), chewing sounds, even slightly dirty feeling hands mean I can’t even slightly function. More on the towels, if I touch a towel wrong I will come VERY close to screaming almost every time. People always treat it like it’s so dumb and I hate it, like bro please. Also a more normal one is I cannot STAND having hair in my face so when I’m having sensory overload I just want to shave my head because of how uncomfortable it is. And with the socks, if normal socks touch my feet, no they don’t because I would never let that happen. It makes me want to rip my hair out and scream. Uh yeah slay id

the feeling of velvet fabrics, it just makes me feel really uncomfortable

The smell of eggs cooking. Every morning my dad cooks eggs, and it makes me want to vomit.

Paint on my hands. I cant. Or, wearing rubber gloves. So when Im washing the dishes, I dont use the rubber gloves my parents gave it (I cant wear those for my life)

Sweating. Or just heat in general. (vomit)

Tight clothes. I cannot. I can do shirts SOMETIMES ( I usually do not cuz of gender dysphoria) But jeans? Nuh uh.

smooth hands....either soft or rough is so much preferred, I do not like smooth hands, and avoid handshakes because

i do not enjoy plastic feeling hands

and jeans, there to tight and make me panic, also hats, they make me feel itchy

wet food , i hate the feeling of wet food, I cant do the dishes because of wet food remains

it makes me want to cry

Sigh... I have really weird sensory issues-

I really hate loud sounds (they make me very scared and anxious)

Also the feeling of like uhhhh idk those goofy fabrics like the ones that are like carpet feeling

I almost always gotta wear socks because i hate teh feeling of carpet

also like anything too mushy in my mouth, it makes me feel blehhh

DIRTY HANDS MAN THEY DRIVE ME INSANE!!!

Cant handle the smell and/or taste of pepper, it physically makes my head hurt

@moonmolls: Meanwhile at work we're on the top floor and they've been fixing the roof for about 300 years, while the auditorium across the street is being demolished (they couldn't save it because it was full of asbestos, though they did save the amazing midcentury tile mural, currently in storage at a cemetery (really!). Everything in the world right now is designed to make me scream forever.

for me, the worst one is either heat (i CANNOT STAND being even slightly too hot. a fan is on in my room even during the winter) or anything slippery. butter, oil, even regular liquid hand soap makes me uncomfortable (ofc i still use it, i just prefer foam soap)

it especially makes it tough when i'm having a not-great sensory day and i decided to make food for a get-together with some friends... the buttery feeling is horrible making arepasnow that i think about it i think anything grainy is also really hard to deal with if it sticks on my hands. i'm fine with sand as long as it brushes off quickly, but if my hands are wet and stuff sticks to them it's the WORST.

OMG i just saw someone else's comment about the smell of food and i remembered how much i HATE the smell of meat cooking in my house. it gets in my room and everything and i have to light a candle or something cuz it smells ICKYYY

felt, wood, SAND, cardboard, soap (when i wash things) and loud thins and other stuff. espciecally when my fingers get "warm" warm happens when i touch something i don't like, or my fingernails are too long, r my fingers are sticky and i feel like i cant do stuff because of my fingers are warm
