can someone tell me what a fictive is, in detail? im tryna google it but all the sources that seem reliable are blocked 513b39525823e_crying.gif

Hello, system here! We have 2 fictives with us--one who is just a fictive in appearance (as in he looks exactly like a certain character, but he doesn't act like the character), and the other is fully fictive.

A fictive is a member of a dissociative system that has attributes "copied" from some kind of outside media (like a book, movie, show, game, etc.)

We can answer any other questions you have about this kind of stuff if you like! (to the best of our ability lol)

@PupStar_Golden: yeah i know all that stuff, i'm just tryna find a term that matches the things im feelin'. Theres a character i really like but i don' really kin him much, but i've gotten kinda obsessed with him to the point i wanna act like him? it's hard ta explain.

@_AXE_: I'm not sure? I mean if you have alters i'm pretty sure that classifies as a system. You can kin a character meaning that you relate to them so much you could be them (for example a kokichi kinnie would be very very similar in personality to kokichi oma)

So, if i am remembering correctly, a fictive is a member of a system (DID) that is sourced from a fictional character (sometimes a real person like a streamer) I'm not 100% sure the difference between fictives and introjects but I believe they're similar

there are also factives and if my memory serves me correctly they are alters sourced from a person the body knows personally irl or online.

i may not be 100% correct so hopefully an actual system answers lol
