!!!!!!FIRST SEMI-GOOD UPDATE WE'VE GOTTEN SINCE JULY!! WOOOOO!!!

currently i now have an offical date on when congress will come back, tuesday sept. 5th.

currently we know hundreds and hundreds of organizations have made it obvious they oppose KOSA.

keep in mind IF this passes, it will take 18 months-a year to go into affect.

THANKFULLY!! people are starting to realize that this will restict minors from basically ALL content, going against the first amendment.

concerns has been raised of online survalience for both adults and minors, raising concerns of identity theft and the darknet.

thankfully, IF this gets passed, the supreme court will most likely change some things or turn it down.

studies have shown social media does NOT cause sewerslide/sewerslideal thoughts, which means most 'protect the children' people will potentailly stop saying that.

AND, mostlikely, senators have heard our calls and they are mostlikely considering not passing KOSA, so far we know 2 senators oppose/want to change things about KOSA. But, so far we also know that senator Ted Cruz most likely will NOT oppose KOSA due to his recent speech in San Antionio TX. BUT, dont let that make you stressed, so far all we know is that we have 2 senators on our side, 1 not on our side, but 2 is better than 0, remember that.

Berin Szoka, president of tech freedom adds that this law will make lawsuits for innocent websites that show 'harmful' content to minors legal, which may force them to restrict minors to all content. Berin argues that this is a violation of the first amendment by imposing a duty of care to protect the public from speech that may cause harm, due to its potentially unconstitutional nature, its uncertain if this law will pass, and if it does, the Supreme Court may untimately overturn it.
