i usually leave singles really stretchy along with ladder cuffs, but i try to make x base things and multi stitch projects super tight. is this how your supposed to do it? can making it too tight damage it or something?

If a cuff is too tight it could cut off circulation

From my experience, it depends on how tight you make it. I usually make my x-bases a bit tight to hold structure (i mainly make x-bases for 3d or carousel cuffs) same with multi stitch. but i wouldn't pull too tight, the main reason why most people advise you not to pull to tight is because it could break whenever you try to wear it, or it will just be unwearable in general! if that made no sense, feel free to ask me to elaborate! hkheart
