will sharpie stick to kandi? // kandi ideas?

i made a white ladder stitch cuff so people can sign it next vidcon, but will regular sharpie stick to the beads or should i use a paint pen? also i need kandi ideas so if you have some those would also be appreciated! /nf

it would probably just run off, but if you filled the beads with a nail file or sandpaper (depending on what you have) it should stick. Same with paint markers. They will chip even

ive tried that before and it doesn't work. unless the surface is somewhat textured, the sharpie just rubs off

@vampirefir: i was also taking into consideration the beads rolling, i didnt think to put perlers on though! ill try that kao yes

Was it a complex or simple ladder stitch? because if it was complex the sharpie could stick to the string maybe

Sharpie doesn't stay on pony beads. Even dry, it's easy to rub off.

Sharpie won't stick, most likely. Paint pen might have a slightly better chance, though I wouldn't rely on that. Beads roll, though, so the chances of the signatures staying properly is very very small. Maybe make a cuff with white perler charms for people to sign instead? sharpie sticks OK to perler and that gets rolled around less often.
