X-base wont stand

so im making my first rotating cuff and im making the middle piece and i had to make it bigger to fit around the regular cuff duh but it wont stand? im making sure to pull it tight and everything idk whats wrong

im not 2 sure what u mean but if its kinda funneling out then thats normal w cuffs! once u add that final 2 finish it off it'll b straight & a-ok wink

it could be how tight you do it, don't do it to tight also do it over 6 rows and/or just 6 rows, those were the probs for me lol.tinybat

when you say it won’t stand, do you mean that it isn’t staying straight up & down/curling outwards? if so, that’s normal while making an x base cuff & it will come together once you finish & tie it off!

@SKRUNGLYCATZZ: im using elastic string and im pulling so tight that its leaving marks on my fingers and stuff

i would reccomend making the x base a little bigger and using non elastic string for the x base part. ues elastic string for the outer part tho.hkheart

it could be the type of string you're using and/or it could be you didnt pull it tight enough!!

what type of string are you using
