Trouble setting profile picture

I can't seem to set my profile picture for some reason. It says there was an error uploading it i think. I've tried different ways of setting it (local, url, drive, etc.) but it still says it. Does anyone know why this is or how to fix it 513b55c721dfa_kao_confused.gif

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

@Crumpet: ty!! Im assuming shes blocked cuz its a skool computer and we usually use the skool wifi, ty again!! tongue

@GloriousGonzo2219: I can’t say for sure what the problem is from that, but for most people who can’t set a profile photo, it’s because their device is blocked from using Uploadcare.com (happens frequently with school networks and devices). When that’s the case, the upload button won’t show. For OP it’s different because I can tell she’s seeing the upload screen. If she was blocked from accessing Uploadcare, she wouldn’t have gotten that far.

You can check whether you’re blocked from Uploadcare or not by trying to access Uploadcare.com

My friend can't set her pfp either, but she uses it on computer. I use mine on phone and computer shrug

That’s not good. I’ve just been able to change mine so I don’t think there are any global problems with the image uploader service we use, although I did notice that it didn’t show me the preview so I’ll have to look into that. Message me with the photo you were trying to use and I’ll take a look
