heyooo im working on getting a diagnoses and i wanted to talk to some other people on the spectrum

questions:

1) when/how did you get diagnosed?

currently working on a diagnoses. im talking to online doctors and therapists cuz i had an unpleasant experience with an irl therapist so i figured online was better. ive been showing signs all my life but never had the guts to talk to anyone about it lol

2) do you also have adhd/add?

yep i got diagnosed with adhd when i was 5

3) whats something you're really into (yk special interest)?

i'm super into pokemon (when i was 8-9 i was really interested in the digestive system for like no reason)

4) what have been some of your experiences with other people in your age group, before or after being diagnosed?

a lot of them (except for my neurodivergent friends) think im weird. like ive gotten weird looks for rocking back and forth all the time and stimming all my life

5) hows your day going?

pretty good. i have 1st and 4th hour finals today so thats gonna be something but after i do my 2nd 3rd and 5th hour finals tomorrow i have a 10 day break that im pretty excited about

6) favorite kind of juice (if you don't like juice, favorite liquid in general)?

orange juice or the new monster water things (ik they say 'water' on the bottle but they are colored and fruity which makes it a juice in my opinion)

1. My therapist recommended an autism diagnosis for me when I was 12, my parents declined and I was pulled out of therapy. Last summer, I got evaluated in secret so technically I’m diagnosed but nothing’s on paper.

2. Yep! No official diagnosis, though

3. Since I’ve got adhd, long-standing special interests are rare, but my first special interest was cats (the animal, not the musical)

4. My social life is constantly rocky lol, I’ve always been the “weird kid” and I haven’t really started getting along well with other people until recently

5. Kinda good kinda bad school is crushing my soul

6. Pineapple juice is so so good!! Definitely would recommend

4.) I dunno- My friends prolly think im funky, I make random noises sometimes- I also stim often-

5.) Its been okay actually!! I hv been catching up on schoolwork- (I was out for a week) But we did some fun and easy assignments so.. Yeah! I wont go into a massive (and actually a positive one) rant about my day unless someone asks about it
