heyooo im working on getting a diagnoses and i wanted to talk to some other people on the spectrum

questions:

1) when/how did you get diagnosed?

currently working on a diagnoses. im talking to online doctors and therapists cuz i had an unpleasant experience with an irl therapist so i figured online was better. ive been showing signs all my life but never had the guts to talk to anyone about it lol

2) do you also have adhd/add?

yep i got diagnosed with adhd when i was 5

3) whats something you're really into (yk special interest)?

i'm super into pokemon (when i was 8-9 i was really interested in the digestive system for like no reason)

4) what have been some of your experiences with other people in your age group, before or after being diagnosed?

a lot of them (except for my neurodivergent friends) think im weird. like ive gotten weird looks for rocking back and forth all the time and stimming all my life

5) hows your day going?

pretty good. i have 1st and 4th hour finals today so thats gonna be something but after i do my 2nd 3rd and 5th hour finals tomorrow i have a 10 day break that im pretty excited about

6) favorite kind of juice (if you don't like juice, favorite liquid in general)?

orange juice or the new monster water things (ik they say 'water' on the bottle but they are colored and fruity which makes it a juice in my opinion)

4. Idk I don’t really interact with other kids my age. I do have my twin sister though. She’s alright

1) when/how did you get diagnosed?

I actually got an appointment scheduled for getting diagnosed! My appointment is next year. (I don't know the date I wasn't told yet. I'm not self diagnosing with autism I'd feel way more comfortable with a diagnosis then just saying I have it)

2) do you also have adhd/add?

Nope I got tested for it and the doctors was like:"Nope you don't have it" (He diagnosed me with something else though it was depression and anxiety)

3) whats something you're really into (yk special interest)?

I LOVE Deltarune and AOT (It's literally the best. If anyone wants to talk about it lemme know my DMs are always open )

4) what have been some of your experiences with other people in your age group, before or after being diagnosed?

I'd rock back and forth, ever since I was little (I still do it's a stim of mine. At first my parents were like stop that, but they've gotten used to it and now they accept it as one of my stims). Back in middle school, I had a classmate ask me if I was jamming to music, which I didn't like so I just stopped until I left the classroom and then continued after I didn't see them in any other classes of mine. My aunt also saw me do this and thought I was in distress or something (Apparently that's a sign of distress or something Idk-) anyway I told her no and it was just something I do cause it makes me feel calm and stuff and she was like "Okay just wanted to make sure you were alright". (I've had this stim for years when I was really little my mom said I would rock back and forth in my crib )

5) hows your day going?

It's okay I guess. I'm working on homework, a solo for a concert, play practice, and finally performing the play

6) favorite kind of juice (if you don't like juice, favorite liquid in general)?

Orange Juice (Call me not classy or whatever this stuff is bussin' )

1. In the 1st grade. My teacher noticed something waz up and talked to my parentz.

2. I think so? I'm pretty sure I got an add diagnosis.

3. The walten filez. I used to be really into warrior catz.

4. Kidz give me weird lookz for wearing headphonez, rocking back and forth, and flapping my handz.

5.im super tired lol

6. I like Gatorade, Sprite and water!

1) I'm actually not sure about this, when I was around 15 was when I think I got diagnosed, but due to switching doctors around that time there was a miscommunication and I didn't know I was diagnosed until like 2 years later.

2) yeah, most of my immediate family has ADHD

3) I consider Spider-Man to be my special interest! although I do also have shorter hyperfixations

4) I was homeschooled, which kind of speaks for itself I tend to be friends with people a couple years older or younger than I am.

5) it's alright, I;m nervous about the next few days bc I'm gonna be really busy.

I am technically not diagnosed, and usually i would leave it there and not go by the autism label but everyone i've ever been close to says that they thought i had autism. my parents, all 9 of my siblings, my partners... everyone im close to bruh.

one of my sisters do but i dont think i do

special interest is fnaf (been into it for 7 years now) and eddsworld

grew up in a very accepting place and the most that happened was i got called cringe but so did my nuero typical friends so i didnt think much of it lol

Probably do have ADHD or add, might self-diagnosed idk tho yet most like i have both

I acted like a werewolf when I was 7, I do stupid stuff all the time, I dress emo/goth, was bullied before- and I'm always hyper 24/7 so everything thinks I'm weird, but I am so IDC

Good, I'm going out for the week tho so I can't talk to yall for a week D:

I have so many it's too bad, ima a list of my top 5

1, Gatorade I'm actually allowed to drink it unlike the others on the list so I don't have to sneak it in at it being a pain

2. Arazonias I drink too many now Gatorade is top

3. Soda, Yes. My parents don't allow me to drink it for some reason, but my friends give me them every day so I sneak them in. Very easy to tbh

4. Monsters, only had a few, and there rather hard to sneak

5. Last but not least Red bulls, are easy to sneak but taste weird :/ also have to hide the fact that I'm twice as hyper as before

runners ups: Hot coco, Mlikshakes, And smoothes!, I drink them to many times, kinda just to live in my old place bc that was my only like food/drink so I don't enjoy them as much as I used to :/

ppl used to ask me why i thought i was a cat (i was 7/8/9)
