heyooo im working on getting a diagnoses and i wanted to talk to some other people on the spectrum

questions:

1) when/how did you get diagnosed?

currently working on a diagnoses. im talking to online doctors and therapists cuz i had an unpleasant experience with an irl therapist so i figured online was better. ive been showing signs all my life but never had the guts to talk to anyone about it lol

2) do you also have adhd/add?

yep i got diagnosed with adhd when i was 5

3) whats something you're really into (yk special interest)?

i'm super into pokemon (when i was 8-9 i was really interested in the digestive system for like no reason)

4) what have been some of your experiences with other people in your age group, before or after being diagnosed?

a lot of them (except for my neurodivergent friends) think im weird. like ive gotten weird looks for rocking back and forth all the time and stimming all my life

5) hows your day going?

pretty good. i have 1st and 4th hour finals today so thats gonna be something but after i do my 2nd 3rd and 5th hour finals tomorrow i have a 10 day break that im pretty excited about

6) favorite kind of juice (if you don't like juice, favorite liquid in general)?

orange juice or the new monster water things (ik they say 'water' on the bottle but they are colored and fruity which makes it a juice in my opinion)

@asherneedssleep: pretty girls!! i really like drawing willow smith and allison reynolds specifically, but i also have a couple ocs i draw too I'm also really good at eyes!!!

1. I got diagnosed by my school counselor 5 - 8 months ago/gen

2. Yes I do, its rare in my family tho/srs

3.(caps//) FNAF AND BATIM!!

4. I got picked on for stimming alot, especially when listening to music

5. Mine was pretty good ngl.

heartstopper and art supplies (seriously, i can name any art supply yo show me and i'll list how to use it, what supplies to use it with, what paper/canvas to use, what kind of art style works best with it, what it's made of, and what materials it doesn't work well with) I can also mix matching colors perfectly on the first try and i'm dangerously good at replicating art/art styles

ALSO i pick up on art tips really quickly so i guess im advanced for my age, i can draw p much anything on command and it usually looks kind of good

4) what have been some of your experiences with other people in your age group, before or after being diagnosed?

bullied a lot, cus im lgbtq and cus i'm weird/i make people uncomfortable. i'm also teased for my lack of focus, hearing issues, stimming, and not understanding social cues

5) hows your day going?

good!! i'm working on an art project and i just discovered I somehow know how to draw realism portraits.. didn't even know i knew how to do that

(the portrait is of my lord and savior allison reynolds)

(also i will probably post the drawing soon)

I don't really interact with people that aren't my friends so they usually consider me as this distant 'weird' kid.

everyone in elementary school thought i was weird and annoying, even my friends (besides one, but even then i think she got sick of me sometimes lmao) i don't rlly talk to a lot of people now, but I don't think as many people think im weird n annoying, maybe they do but idrk

it's good, i was almost late to first period lolol

ive known that im autistic for about 2 years. last February i let my therapist tell my parents that i might have autism. in may i had my first evaluation and by laste june i was diagnosed

STAR TREK AND MCR !!!! i FUCKING LOVE STAR TREK SM ITS BEEN MY SPECIAL INTEREST SINCE DECEMBER 2020. IVE LOVED MCR SINCE 6TH GRADE AND THEIR RECENT TOURS BROUGHT IT BACK TO SPECIAL INTEREST TERRITORY!!

4) what have been some of your experiences with other people in your age group, before or after being diagnosed?

ive always been "the shy kid" and have had the same few friends since elementary/middle school. im pretty awkward irl and dont get jokes/sarcasm sometimes. after being diagnosed i just havent been masking as much so i usually keep to myself at school lol.

5) hows your day going?

boring lmao. im in class rn and theres like 4 mins till lunch.

coke zero !!!! and coffe and most energy drinks. i have a caffiene addiction lamo
