Do bead pets count as Kandi?

If so, I've been making kandi ever since I've discovered pony beads.

I personally think that pony bead bracelets and bead pets don't count as kandi until you know what kandi is and what it represents, and intentionally make it as kandi. Before then, you're just making pony bead bracelets and bead pets :p that may sound silly, but it's my opinion lol. I don't think that little kids are making kandi at craft camps.
