What pound strength fishing line for this bag?

GreenHatPandaAlly 6/22/2013 06:48 pm 1481

I want to make a bag where the panel will be over 50 rows high, and something around there across. (something like that homestuck panel) What pound strength would be the best? i know with that amount of beads it'll be heavy already so i don't want to pick a too weak strength and have it snap on me. I have 8 pound but it just seams too weak and thin to me.

I haven't tried fishing line yet...I use Creatology plastic lace for most of that sort of stuff and it seems to be pretty durable.

My wife uses 20-30 pound I believe because she does her big bags and purses.

I used 6 pound for my purse, but it was kind of small love struck I'd suggest 10 or 12? happy

I'd go for bass fishing line if you're going for something super durable. It's thicker and it's really good for large bag projects. Good luck on your bag!
