I went to six,,, YES SIX different ballet studios over the past week, auditioning for a spot in their summer/fall season, and they all REFUSED to let me play any male parts... i was complamented everytime on my stability, form, i even did good (FOR ONCE LOL) on pointe, the only audition i did bad on, i barely messed up!!! i forgot to land on (in simple terms) the like flat upper part of my feet. im litteraly crying bc my feet hurt so bad bc i was wearing SOFT ballet shoes while on pointe because thats what the male dancers do, and now i think my feet are going to fall apart
