what kind of cord should i use for bags?

hi! i was thinking about making a bag, but i was wondering if anyone knows if elastic or something like fishing line would be sturdier?

I used fabric string because it won't break and it lasts longing. you can get fabric cord from amazon or something like that but I get mine from dollar tree.

something not super stretchy- a thick fishing line would be good!

i just used go create string for the strap awesome1 but thats also what i used for the bag, as long as u don't use super stretchy string like stretch magic u should be fine
