My Relay for life necklace <3

Description I participated in the Relay for life on June 1st and made this pretty necklace :) Though it may be simple, it has much meaning. Each lap around the track I did I put a bead on the necklace. 4 laps is a mile. You're looking at 17 miles there friends :) I personally raised $410 this year but my team raised $6,828.87 for the American Cancer Society! Creating a world with less cancer and more happy birthdays!!!

i loooooove the relay for life! i wanna do it next year, haven't done it in a few years straight face

Wow that's incredible!!! My goal for next years relay is to walk 26.2 miles (a full marathon)happy I would have kept going 'cept I made the mistake of sitting down at like 3am lol laughing

thats awesome! i wish they did that for my Relay for Life event! when i did the Relay for Life one year they gave out a paper clip for each lap. my friends group (all girls) teamed up against other classmates (all boys) and we tried to out walk each other during the event. in the end each of us walked just over 25 miles. by the time the event ended, i had a string of 1 inch paper clips that was about 12 feet long and a 4 foot (about) strand of big 2 inch paper clips (one for every full mile). the girls won considering we had gotten a good size cooler full of energy drinks to keep us awake all night.
