@Matthewpatthewtherat: totally cool! some of my favorite book series are Keeper Of the Lost Cities, sailor moon (manga) and a couple others! im also scared for HS too but i think i can make it some of my fav games are roblox, minecraft, super mario galaxy (or any other nintendo games) and i have a decent sized kandi collection!

Here’s a few ideas!

-if you have purple beads, maybe try an Olivia Rodrigo G**s album themed one? -if you have blue and yellow, maybe a Sailor Moon one?

-if you have green, maybe do a Luigi/Mario one!

-if you have yellow, try McDonalds!
-if you have orange and brown, maybe do a fall leaves mix!

Cosplaying and going to cons are the best things ever! I went to my first con back in December and it was great! Take a good look a your con's schedule of things about a bazillion times to make sure you have found all of the cool things you can participate in. I'd personally get a really good lanyard for your badge. My con had lousy badges that fell off all the time. They also had lanyards you could buy, but that didn't make much difference in my case. If your cosplay has you wearing uncomfortable shoes and your feet are getting fatigued, for the love of god take them off! Don't be stubborn and try to stay in character like I did. I could barely walk the following day. Back in December I cosplayed as Sailor Neptune/Michiru Kaioh (I was in her winter school uniform not the actual sailor suit. I didn't have the confidence to lol.), and I was Hanazono Shizuma in her summer uniform from Strawberry Panic. I'm getting to go to a con in March with a really large party of friends and I think it's going to top my first experience. I'm going to reuse the two cosplays I just listed and I'm bringing some older ones with me. I have a lolita dress and I'm debating on bringing my ff7 Aerith cosplay. Mine is purple moon, because my middle name is moon and my hair is purple so my best friend one day was calling me moon and somehow she just put it together and said purple moon, so it just stuck
