There are multiple tutorials out there, but first you want to start out the mask like a flat charm! Then continue like that. This tutorial explans it a bit better, and it's the one I used when I made a kandi mask!!

that pattern is pretty confusing! its more shaped like a mask, but here's how i would make it. i would make it sideways, from left to right, and treat it like a peyote charm. i think the little cut out at the bottom is used to make it a little rounder, like a mask.

i have no idea how people normally do it but i pull it tight with pliers on both of the loose ends, ive had to use this string for masks and it SUCKSSSSS, so i just dont make masks anymore lol.

as for ideas, masks and 3D cuffs are always fun if you can get some cool patterns (for masks) or cool colour combos for the cuffs!!!

when making ANYTHING big (peyote + multi cuffs, all 3D cuffs, masks, etc.) ALWAYS make sure the thread is pulled tightly (but not too tight-don’t let it snap)

if the thread isn’t pulled tightly it’ll end up looking really bad, trust me, my first carousel cuff and my first mask both looked awful because i didn’t make sure the thread was tight enough

ALSO use good string!! i used to get hat elastic and cut it in half bc it was easier to get than good stretchy string and don’t do that!! most things i made with that didn’t turn out well lol

if you’re looking for tutorials, i would recommend checking out vickymuffins and mood kandi on youtube, they both have great tutorials!!

last (but not least), make sure you don’t exclusively make super cool singles!! i know it’s fun but you gotta make sure that you have an even balance of super cool creative unique singles and more bland/boring ones (such as ones without words on them, only two colours, etc). this is because a) if you just have a bunch of super cool but super specific singles they can be hard to style in outfits and b) if you’re ever interested in trading with strangers that you might see out and about you don’t want to be super attached to every single and not have anything you’d be willing to trade (ofc, if you want to make super unique singles, go ahead!! it’s just if you’re planning to incorporate kandi into everyday clothes or trade randomly then just have some options available :])

u could use the masking tape method!! basically, u make the perler on the perler board, then put masking tape over it and slowly peel it off so the beads stick to the tape. then u iron it on there instead of the board. i probably don't make a lot of sense 0__0 but u can look up sum yt tutorials!!

nene kusanagi: taken by emu fr, she is a very talented singer but shes really shy. but when she makes friends she is BRUTALLY honest. i love it. rui is her childhood friend and people ship nenerui but i dont bc emunene is fr canon and ruikasa is fr canon. they are g** asf. slayyyyyyy!!!! also emunene and ruikasa just seem better ships. sorry.

mafuyu asahina: maybe taken by kanade fr, she is a fake little b***h. shes like popular or whatever but really shes depressed and wants to disappear. but kanade said shed write a song that would save mafuyu and also miku doesnt want mafuyu do d!3 so mafuyu is still alive and well but she was a total a** to her friends when they tried to help her with her depression. but she is pretty i must say. her voice is good too. she sang a funni dream mask song she wears a mask with a smile for hours at a time- she stays up all ***ht on discord with the others to write lyrics to the songs
mizuki akiyama: taken by ena fr, they are probably trans-fem but we dont know their gender yet so they are they/them pronouns. they love cute things and they are my second favorite character THEY SLAYYYYYYYY <3 i think they design the music videos for ***htcords songs

kandi belts, belt chains, bags, masks, shoe beads, and chunky necklaces!!! also furry ****ets are cool if youre scene and wanna stay warm, same thing w/ leg warmers, fingerless gloves, and hats!! fun patterned maxi skirts are sick too if you like skirts. try layering tshirts over long sleeves and then put a fluffy faux fur ****et or bright color coat over it, and wear a funky maxi skirt, baggy jeans, or leggings w/ leg warmers!!

also for accessorizing- earrings, pins, headbands, ear muffs, chokers, chunky big necklaces, rings/kandi gloves, kansi masks, ear headbands, belts, chains EVERYWHERE!!
