Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz is really good, and the sequel is coming out this year. Also if you're into graphic novels, Fun Home by Alison Bechdel is a memoir of the author's life.

Personally I like:

The symptoms of being human - Jeff Garvin (genderfluid rep, never once uses a gendered pronoun or reveals the ASAB for the main character. TWs for assault, talk of unalive and some slurs. probably more, maybe look it up first. it hits pretty close to home for some. lots of descriptions of gender dysphoria. main character has a blog. main character is also vegan if i remember correctly.)

Carry on - Rainbow Rowell (Wizards, vampires, chosen ones who don't know what they're doing MLM)

Wayward Son - Rainbow Rowell (the sequel to Carry On. pretty angsty tbh, somewhat slowburn MLM)

George - Alex Gino (a trans girl in elementary school who wants to be a female role in the play. short, but a good read!)

The Witch Boy - Molly Ostertag (graphic novel - I forget exactly what it's about but it has themes of gender roles while being magic-y)

Princess Princess Ever After - Katie O'Neill (short graphic novel - fairy tale style book. happy ending. WLW)

Check Please! (series of graphic novels - somewhat video blogging format, gay hockey players, you don't have to get the sport to read it. one of my favs. MLM)

The Prince and the Dressmaker - Jen Wang (graphic novel - somewhat fairytale, a prince who goes out in drag at night - really good read. happy ending)

Some suggestions from a friend:

The Black Flamingo - Dean Atta

All Boys Aren't Blue - George M. Johnson (memoir)

The Meaning of Birds - Jaye Robin Brown

We Are Totally Normal - Rahul Kanakia

I Wish You the Best - Mason Deaver

i personally rlly enjoyed the gentlemen's guide to vice and virtue by Mackenzi Lee, and i can 100% vouch for lumberjanes, they both die at the end, heartstopper, and carry on (which wasn't on OP's list, but i saw another commenter mention it)! I've read all these and they're all very good!
