Ironing

I read somewhere that there are actually irons made just for perler beads. Does anyone know where you might can find one? I searched Google but couldn't find anything

Yeah I just use the ones for clothing as well. They all work the same. I just go high power at the start and then low power when i need to fill extra holes

I wish there was! I use a straightener because I'm terrified of my clothing iron. scared

I don't know about that. I know not to use steam when ironing perler beads.

If you're worried about them melting to much I would recommend just setting your iron at a lower heat setting and then you can adjust it higher as needed till you find the right temp. Worse case scenario with a lower temp is that you have to iron it longer.

at some walmarts in the crafting department though its not listed online there is a iron usually with the t-shirt transfers, puffy paint and things of the like. when i go into work tonight if i can find it i'll take a photo at work and try posting it for you

I would just buy a good second hand iron. My mom used to work in a hotel and "borrowed" the broken iron(the water cap is gone so you can't steam). I use that with the silk setting and it works fine and it was "free"
