this bill has been declined in the past, unfortunetly SOME lawmakers dont learn that if people dont want it twice, they wont want it at all

what is KOSA?: KOSA, or the kids online safety act, is a mass censorship bill PLANNED to pass in september, it will get rid of anything and everything the U.S government dosent like on the internet, for example, LGBTQIA content, possibly some horror movies, and it will SILENCE any and all LGBTQIA creators, your parent/guardian will be able to see everything and anything you do online and your search history if your a minor, and even if your not a minor, you'll have to upload your I.D. just to have access to social media, which will most likely lead to literally doxxing yourself. If this bill passes sewerslide rates, SH rates, and mental health issues for teens rates will skyrocket. i also think this will effect music and education, students wont be able to learn REAL things. as someone in a more younger grade(over 5th dw) i want to learn about my town, but if KOSA passes, i wont be able to learn REAL things, i'll only learn what the government wants me to learn.

message from starZ about KOSA: as someone who wants to do social media as a career, this bill will take away all chances i have of doing that, imagine how less money YOUR favorite creators will make, meaning they will not be able to do as much as they want to. Imagine how boring their content might get if they cant get the cool things they planned to get, for example, the creator Ranboolive, imagine KOSA gets passed, what will they do? most of their followers are american and under/exactly 13 years old, so that means they wont get as much money, meaning things like generation loss might be less cool or big projects might be cancelled.

how can i help?: go to badinternetbills.com and/or stopkosa.com for ways to call/email your senators and petitions to sign, post how bad KOSA is, and spread the word about KOSA. @omarsbigsister and @doctor_jason on tiktok have more info. DO NOT CONSTANTLY ASK FOR UPDATES. make sure to properly explain to senators how bad KOSA is, bring up sewerslide rates, and if your a minor BRING UP YOUR AGE, minors dont usually take part to oppose a bill the government make, so currently minors are convincing senators just how bad this bill is.

should i tell an adult/parent/guardian?: only if you know 100% what you are telling them is true, make sure to say all bad parts of this bill.

i've realized people arent talking about it as much as they should be, so im posting this. as a minor in the U.S. i need social media, social media is the reason i havent done SH in 9 months. if social media gets taken away me and so many other minors will be drivin to insanity and/or sewerslide. the entire U.S. needs your help. you can help even if you arent in the U.S. /srs
