whats something weird yet strangely cool about the area/place where you live

i had this idea while walking to the bus stop this morning

the thing thats weird but somewhat cool about my area is i live about 2 blocks away from my cities juvenile detention center (which is really funny cuz ive almost gone there once or twice XD)

there’s a giant Walmart with an equally giant parking lot and it snows so much here so all the snow in the parking lot is plowed into this huge pile and eventually it solidifies and all the teenagers come together and have a nerf w@r and use the snow to build giant forts even though it’s always freezing, I’ve gone every year since I was 11 it’s awesome

literally nothing!!! everything is so boring here. we have a dead mall idk!! theres a bridge with some swingset underneath that some teenagers put there and i do graffiti there sometime

There is literally nothing cool about my city except this once park that's really nice. There's a playground, a hiking trail, a bunch of rocks to climb on, an area that's good for skipping stones (i can never do it right tho lmao), and a really old, but cool, bridge!
And our local mall used to have so much stuff in it too and it was so much fun to walk around in. But a bunch of stores like Sears, JCPenny, Macy's, etc. closed. So now there's just a sporting goods store that barely anyone goes to :/

@scourge: hmmmmm i mean the dead mall is pretty cool cuz you could build a lot of scary stories off it, and the bridge with the swing and graffiti is nice cuz who doesnt wanna swing under a bridge that they can draw/paint on
