I wish I had gotten bags of solid colored beads instead of a mixture. There is rarely anything any more tedious than trying to pick out the beads you want from a mixture sick

Take your time and start out simple. I started out with rainbow loom so switching to kandi was pretty confusing, but I'd suggest starting either with singles (maybe just some basic rainbow ones) or simple cuffs!! I made my first peyote cuffs with the help of a tutorial from VickyMuffins (here's the link) and since that I've really improved, plus they seem to be the easiest for me

Here's a tip for making cuffs: pull on the string (not too hard!) every so often so it'll stay together better, it'll make it feel better too, if that makes sense

Hope this helps, and have fun!! colorfulhearts

1. buy beads/organizers/string from dollar stores!! 2. cloth elastic string is super super important!!! 3. make sure ur beads are closed tightly while you arent using them, spillage can happen a lot! good luck on your kandi journey!!

After you tie your knots on the strings, put a drop of super glue to keep it from undoing

as someone below me said, use cloth covered elastic, it's much easier to use for beginners! buying assorted beads that come in a container (pre-sorted) rather than a bag is a great time saver as well :]

I had also started with rainbow loom so switching to making kandi was pretty confusing for me, but I first started with a pack of Walmart beads and single ones are the best to start with. But the best places to get beads other than Amazon, is michaels, hobby lobby, Walmart. Another online site that I discovered was delish beads because they have cool charms and beads happy

And also welcome big grin
