what unpopular kandi opinions do yall have?

some of mine include :

- you dont need to use fishing line for masks/panels - clear coord or regular stretchy cloth covered cord works just as well (if you pull hard on the cloth covered cord)

- matte beads > glossy beads

- rainbow colored cloth stretch cord just makes everything better

- ladder stitched cuffs are really underrated for some reason

I personnally dont like to wear super large kandi that take all or half or my forearm Uw

@Cha0t1c_syst3m: Yeah. Only tutorials I really like are TurboBeads' tutorials. If anything, I learn stitches just by teaching myself how to. Thats how I learned the ladder stitch

Ladder Cuffs > Peyote Cuffs

Idk its just easier for me to make ladders than peyotes. I wish there were more patterns for ladder cuffs

Most, but not all, kandi tutorial videos on yt by the bigger kandi people are extremely difficult to follow, and they always seem too happy. I understand being like kind of happy and not super sad/uninterested sounding, but it's a little too much. The videos are usually fine, but if we had a choice, we would stick to smaller kandi YouTubers. Oh lord, we just ranted a little, sorry lols. -Micheal

masks that arent made with non stretchy string/fishing line suck and make me feel like i cant breathe it contours to my face too tightly eugh

@BuzzyBoy: plastic cord is not that streachy but its good for things besides singles or cuffs but for cuffs its caused me problems with tieing and streaching

not kandi itself but people need to stop worrying so much on how to be a proper “kandi kid” or “scene kid.” labels aren’t everything so just chill out and have fun with it
