what are your controversial bead opinions?

mine is that i don't like pearlescent beads. sometimes they're ok but for the most part i find them kind of tacky & unpleasant to look at, and much prefer a regular opaque bead—or, if we're getting shiny with it, a nice iridescent/AB.

also, heart beads with horizontal holes should be the norm! i don't know why they are so hard to find... bless beadtin.com for carrying them.

Michael's is the worst place to get beads. I have had their beads break more times then i can count (literally snap in half) and are WAY overpriced. I didn't even drop the thing and still the beads broke. The only time I've had beads break when they weren't from Micheal's was my bag that i abused a lot. (online you can buy bead tin beads from there but I'm talking abut their store brand)
