how did all of you learn what kandi was?

personally i learned about kandi maybe two months ago, i have been doing perler beads for a while, so i looked up patterns, then i came accross this website, so i looked around and searched up what a bunch of things were (like kandi cuffs, ties, mask etc.), thats how i learned!

My friend gave me one. That's how I learned about Kandi and got a new friend. Seriously though, my friend before they were my friend ran up to me and said "Do want this Kandi bracelet I made? I made it but I kinda wanted it to be in blue, and not green." Thanks @Ross_TallyHallFan for that bracelet and thanks for making my life better and worse by existing

about 3 years ago i started at a new school and i was extremely anxious about talking to people and ye-

two of my friends also went to this school and they were extremely kind and helped me communicate:] they saw a person who looked super cool and decided that i should make a new friend, so they introduced the three of us and i started talking to cool person! cool person made kandi and told me about it, they also gave me some cool charms and cuffs!! so if my 2 friends hadn’t introduced me to cool person, and if cool person didnt go to that school, i probs wouldnt know about kandi-

cool person is such a huge inspiration for me to improve my skills tho-

an ibuki cosplayer from a danganronpa tiktok compilation i saw on youtube during the pandemic i kinda forgot about it a while after that, then i think i saw a youtube video from cybr.grl some time afterwards and that's when i really started wanting to get into making kandi, and here i am!
