Your favorite books and movies as a kid??

i'm learning about kids lit in one of my classes, so anyone wanna share their favorite books and movies from when they were little?? i'm trying to find some common threads between the stories people liked as kids!!!

my favorite book was tale of desperaux! and i liked the movie the never ending story 1.gif

my favorite books were the harry potter series and dork diaries. my favorite movies were elf and the lego Batman movie rainbowsmile

Movies: THE BOOK OF LIFE- THE PRINCESS TWINS OF LEGONDALE- AND ALLLL THE BARBIE MOVIES!!

Books: Dork Diaries, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and ALLLL the EAH books

Warrior cats!!!! I love warrior cats so much, and Percy Jackson,

For movies prob the lion king... Or aristo cats! I also really like gravity falls,, that's a show tho- OH and studio ghibli! i seen all there movie when I was little

I also watched a lot of "movies" on yt,, like not actually movies but its as one yk?

for books it was Black Beauty by Anna Sewell (it was the first chapter book i ever read and i was 6 when it was my favorite) and Doll Bones by Holly Black (read it when i was 9 or 10 and i love it)

for movies it was the Pokemon movies Mewtwo Strikes Back and Destiny Jirachi (i got my first pokemon card from a vhs box copy of Destiny Jirachi :3)

Anything Nacy Drew, Hardy Boys, and The Stone Children

And then for shows Dora, Pokemon, Princess TuTu (I can't think of anyothers I'll add them when I can think of them)

Favorite book was Pride and Prejudice: Dawn of the Dreadfuls, Diary of a Wimpy Kid (mainly bc I related to Rowley a LOT), and Dork Diaries

my favorite movie was The Boxtrolls, I heard it got put on Netflix so Im gonna watch it again dance

I never watched many movies or even shows; if it counts I liked adventure time and gravity falls
