my turn! tw: death, kinda

when a person's head gets cut off, they still have 30 seconds of consciousness before they officially die. when a person dies normally, they have ten minutes. this is due to the fact that there's still oxygen in your body even after you die, so your brain still (kinda) functions normally! 514c877238924_rainbowsmile.gif

yknow that thing where when you say a word too much its stops sounding like a word? theres a word for that, its called 'semantic satiation'!!


(bonus : the word ok is an abbrevation of the misspelling of the words 'oll korrect', because in the 1800s there was this fad of misspelling and shortening words, ok was first used in march of 1839 in the boston morning post)

@catnoirmybeloved: no its actually really cool, when you microwave them it creates plasma and it looks like a tiny explosion. You usually cut um in half and place them on a ceramic plate (skin side down) then when you microwave it they light, We did it as a science experiment a little while back and it was pretty groovy
