It's all a matter of opinion, and the shame is only in the eye of the beholder. Some people consider kandi to be something that is too meaningful to sell, while others view it as just another bracelet. But everyone has their reasons to sell kandi, and who am I to judge people for that? So the "shame" varies from person to person, but what you feel is all that matters. Although I don't understand the "people who don't take time to learn how to make it." I mean, that's like going, "I only do homework for the people who don't take time to learn the information."

I sell kandi and I understand that selling kandi is viewed sacred by others but if someone who does not have the skills wants to but it then why can't I sell it to them so do whatever you feel you need to

It's considered a sin by many older kandi creators, but to the majority of people now-a-days its okay. (I wrote a reply on a similar question) "There are sooo many questions similar to this, and I'm just going to say the same thing every single time: If you want to sell something, Sell it! It's your choice, not anyone elses, and if someone has a problem with it that's their opinion.If anyone says anything nasty to you, just ignore them or it's on the internet, delete and block."

I personally believe that selling simple things like singles, doubles, phatties, cuffs, basic 3Ds, and misc. peyote things is not right. If it is something that is commonly traded as a symbol of friendship than it should not be sold. That being said something bigger like a top hat or a kandi coat where the equivalent trade is something like 200 singles isn't practical to trade. I can see in that situation selling it to regain money for the time put in and the materials. Also things embellished with EL wire, precious metals and stones, etc. (expensive things) is understandable as well. I personally wouldn't sell kandi but I can see the reason behind doing it in those situations.

It's NEVER a shame. I do it all the time, mostly since I'm saving up for a drum set.
