my name is vanderlyle and i stole it from a song because i like the chorus. i go by van for short because my friends said vanderlyle was too long and one of them came up with it, and its very endearing! my favorite colors are blue and pink, i like neons and pastels but not really anything in between. my favorite animal is a sheep and i have a stuffed animal sheep that i've had since my second easter (when i was a year old) and her name is sleepykins, and in the lore of my stuffed animals she bakes for the kingdom. (yes, my stuffed animals have lore, my dad came up with it for me when i was little). my aesthetic is something i like to call "neon academia" where i mix components of dark academia and decora kei and scene, and it is kind of a statement on how people who dress and look "unprofessional" deserve to be treated more seriously in academic settings, because we can be super smart and studious just as much as anyone else!!!
