under the whispering door by tj klune!! its about this guy (Wallace Price) who passes but he's at his own funeral as a ghost. a reaper takes him to a tea shop in the middle of nowhere which is where he stays until he wants to go under the whispering door, which is where all the ghosts go after they pass. but Wallace finds himself not wanting to leave the tea shop at all, in fact, he wants to stay there for as long as possible. this book is kind of centered around passing away- but its more of a comedy, though you should probably research about it more if youre interested in it. (it has a happy ending!)

my ela teacher had one in her library called heartstopper!! It’s a graphic novel about a gay high schooler who recently got outed and his relationship with a Totally Absolutely Straight Guy No Gay Feeling Here At All who by the end of the book is heavily questioning and it has a cliffhangerrrr

very wholesome

She also had a book about some lesbians in a blood apocalypse called bleeding earth it’s pretty cool

I personally recommend "The art of being normal" by Lisa Williamson, which is about a trans girl and a trans guy. I found it in my school library and really enjoyed it. Also I was looking at a thread on reddit about this exact topic yesterday, you could definitely find something good from there https://www.reddit.com/r/FTMMen/comments/qwbozh/books_trans_male_representation/ wink tongue
