Anyone else with sensory issues have trouble wearing necklaces?

I have ADHD so my sensory issues run rampant and uhh i LOVE making/wearing necklaces with my beads BUUT they bother me a lot ... same reason i cant wear kandi on my right arm specifically because im wayy too aware of it. anyone else have ths problem? if so do u have any advice for wearing necklaces without losing your mind kao cry

I'm that way with certain clothing and chokers sometimes. You could try making looser necklaces maybe that can go over your head and wear a high neck top. High neck tops and hoodies will keep the necklace off your skin and will make it show up better.

yes!! i cant wear jewelry that often bc of how bad it feels but i figured out that if i wear long sleeves and put the bracelets over them i cant feel them as much and for necklaces i kind of just do the same thing and wear a hoodie and put it under the hood part so it doesnt touch me. also, most of the time i can only get singles to go over my sleeves bc theyre more stretchy than a cuff. im not sure if it works for everyone but for me it works pretty well!

Maybe either make them shorter so they don't dangle/move as much, OR make them longer so the beads don't touch your skin except at the nape of your neck?

yeah i have the same problem, its kinda like that on my hands too except with gloves shfdkjsk- i dont really know how to help though sadly
