Ren Faire Tips?

We're going for a school thing in 2 weeks and I've never been! I'm exited but would rather not have a meltdown due to not being prepared. Any tips?

Drink all the water you can. Heat and dehydration aren't funsad

i've only been to one so far, but definitely bring water and snacks! there'll probably be lots of things to eat there, but they can be kinda overpriced and might have long lines. also don't be worried that people will judge you for your outfit because anyone going to renfair is most likely going to be really nice and stuff, when I went I saw people from a whole bunch of internet subcultures and not just fantasy renfair type thing. also if you can and are going to be there for a while, wear shoes that are good for walking in! i hope you have a great time big grin
